Hey there— thanks for stopping by!I firmly believe that music— and the arts in general— makes us more human. In a world where we’ve never been more connected yet further apart, it’s easy to lose sight of that. At the end of the day, I’m just one guy, but I hope that, in creating music for others to perform together, I can help to encourage others to seek out human experiences. This site is being added to often— check back to see what’s next!

June 2026
A busy spring it’s been! May and June brought not one, but TWO premieres!
“A Song for My Friend” for choir was premiered by the Franklin High School Bel Canto Choir and their director, Mr. Connor Schuster. // Livonia, MI.
—AND—
“Home to Home and Back” for wind band was premiered by the Jeanette Junior High School Bands and their director, Ms. Bridgette Tepper. // Sterling Heights, MI
I had the pleasure of stopping in to work with both groups, as well as the privilege to attend both premiere performances. I’m immensely grateful to both Connor and Bridgette for collaborating with me on such special projects, as well as to the students of the Franklin Bel Canto Choir and the Jeanette Junior High Bands for the time, effort, and skill in bringing these pieces to life.
Recordings will be posted shortly, but in the meantime, read more about “A Song for My Friend” here, as well as “Home to Home and Back” here.
Oh—and I started grad school! I’m pursuing a Master of Music degree in Theory-Composition from Stephen F. Austin University. I’m looking forward to deepening my understanding of both theory and composition, as well as a big step in furthering my compositional voice.
